The fee for a forensic mental health evaluation reflects time spent conducting the face-to-face clinical interview, reviewing relevant records and documentation, consulting with attorneys or other authorized referral sources, gathering collateral information when appropriate, administering and interpreting assessment measures (if indicated), conducting clinical analysis, and preparing a comprehensive written report. The cost also covers professional communication related to the evaluation and the clinician's specialized training and expertise in forensic mental health assessment.

The length of a forensic mental health evaluation varies depending on the complexity and scope of your case. Please plan to reserve at least 2.5 hours for the clinical interview, though some evaluations may require additional time.

Forensic mental health evaluations are not therapy and are provided as a one-time, independent service. Once your evaluation and report are complete, the professional relationship concludes.
